Joseph Kirby is a Vancouver-based writer and editor. She holds an M.A. and a B.A. Hons. in English Literature. She specializes in teen fiction, having written her thesis on Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy. She has several years' experience working at various institutions as a teacher and tutor of young adults and teens. Currently, she works as a technical writer in the business sector, a professional editor for a large university, and a freelance non-fiction and fiction writer. She has been published in several local print outlets and is the Teen Fiction Topic Editor and Feature Writer for WriteMyEssaySOS. While she enjoys all genres of teen fiction, she is particularly interested in urban fantasy and historical fiction.
