  • This is a well – known phrase of the 14th century which became popular during the time of English poet Geoffrey Chaucer. He used this expression in one of his books which later caught on. Just think if you live in a glass house, you would not like or hope anyone throwing stones at it. So it implies one must not be judgmental about other people when one has same flaws and drawbacks like other have.
