Cool As a Cucumber

Etymology:

• It is one of the oldest expressions that people used to describe a cool person. Most of the people used this expression to tell about a person, who acts calm during stressful or difficult situation. It was later found out that cucumbers are natural coolers and the best summer salad. Due to the cool nature of cucumber this expression came into existence. Now this term is used for well-composed people, who do not lose their temper or know how to act or manage a challenging situation.
