  • This idiom has been adopted from King James Bible. The actual sentence was “and if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch”. This idiom is not used in its literal sense now. But it is now being used in a broader sense and ahead of its typical meaning. Most of the people use this phrase to advise others or help them in difficult situation or protect them from any dangerous person.

Laura does not know much about karate and she is trying to train her younger sister. It is just like a blind leading the blind.
